About the Program

Feast on a sumptuous meal from the culinary experts at the Skirball. Skirball Suppers is a delicious complement to the YouTube Live premiere of Skirball Stages: Gavin Turek and Ak Dan Gwang Chil, a globe-spanning virtual concert. Before settling in for showtime, swing by the campus for curbside pick-up of your pre-ordered supper. Then spend the evening enjoying cuisine, culture, and community. 

Designed by the Skirball’s Executive Chef, Sean Sheridan, the August 29 prix-fixe menu draws inspiration from dishes and ingredients of Korea, home country of featured concert act ADG7. Check out the mouthwatering dishes below. As part of the Skirball Suppers offering, recipes for select dishes in the menu will also be provided free online for at-home preparation; check back here soon for the recipes!

Heirloom cherry tomato and silken tofu salad with shiso leaf and sherry vinegar (V)

Choice of one:
Soy-braised black cod with Korean radish, crown daisy leaf, and enoki mushroom garnish (GF)
King oyster mushroom and gochujang (red chili paste)-marinated tofu with braised collard greens (V)
Braised beef short-ribs in the sweet and savory style of galbi jjim

All entrees include short-grain steamed rice and three delicious sides:
Napa cabbage kimchi and green bean kimchi (V)
Roasted local summer squash (V) (GF)
Sweet stir-fried Yukon gold potatoes (gamja bokkeum) (V)

Slice of strawberry matcha cheesecake with macerated strawberries – Prepared vegan for each order of vegan entrée
