About the Program

Sift and sort to find replicas of ancient artifacts buried beneath the sand, weigh and examine your findings, and analyze clues to discover what we have in common with people who lived three thousand years ago.

  • For Sukkot—On September 25 and 26, learn about ancient agriculture and make a decorative artwork to hang in your home or sukkah.
  • For Archaeology Month—Throughout October, junior archaeologists can participate in special projects: carve a soapstone amulet, create a cuneiform tablet, design a mosaic, or make metal jewelry!
